Nostalgia Dalam Pernak-pernik Khas Nusantara.
Eni Anjayani falls in love with the beauty of Indonesian traditional motifs. Her strong passion to preserve the cultural heritage had driven her to establish Wastraloka in 2014. In order to create unique and different works, Wastraloka hand-paint various motifs on household appliances and tableware. Tea set, kettles, and containers in vintage style are reborn with charming designs. The original batik patterns are maintained to keep the authenticity.
Wastraloka exercise upcycle concept in attempt to contribute to healthier environment. Leftover materials from big industries such as iron, woods, enamel, and tin sheets are utilized to create new useful products.
The touch of the local artisans’ skillful hands brings history and nostalgia back for our inspiration today. Whereas, the premium quality and artistic features make home decors and tableware not only pleasant for the eyes but also bear educative and cultural values and extent them further to other countries.
